New! The team have partnered with a powdercoating company to offer powdercoating on select posts and post fittings for your order. If you are unsure whether you would like the particular colour it is best to order a sample post fitting (subject to availability).

Custom Colours may be available depending on colours held with the powdercoater. Please specify which colour (and code if you have it) you are after.

Non-Returnable. Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of powdercoating and making these items to order they will not be returnable (subject to ACCC). 

Estimated Timeline after finalised order:

1. Fabrication generally ranges from 3 days-2 weeks, subject to job queues. (Closer to 3-5 days most of the year).
2. Transit to powdercoaters once fabrication is complete 1-10 days, subject to batch shipments.
3. Powdercoating ranges from 2-4 weeks generally, although subject to lead times and delays outside of our control. This may extend further during busy periods.
4. Transit from powdercoaters to Quality Assurance. 1 day.
5. Quality Assurance 1-2 days.
   1. Additional Fabrication (if required). Some products still require some fabrication post-powdercoating. 1-3 days. (Premium Square Posts with Fixed Cover Plates are one example as additional welding has to be completed on the top or base plate to install the newly powdercoated cover plate, otherwise pre-installed covers interfere with the powdercoating).
6. Packaging for transit 1-2 days.
7. Transit 2-7 days depending on your location.

Total Estimated Timeframe: 4-6 weeks

Please note we are unable to guarantee any lead times for orders, especially when powdercoating is involved. This breakdown is intended to give you a general idea of the logistics around fabrication and powdercoating and not to be taken as a guarantee of delivery dates.

Generally powdercoating orders are best placed well in advance of deadlines for projects.

Please note Quality Assurance may flag items as insufficient powdercoating quality to supply to you. If this is the case we will be in contact with you.

Customer-Organised Powdercoating

If these timeframes do not suit you then you are able to purchase these products in Stainless Satin Finish for you to organise your own powdercoating. However, certain fabrication requirements will eliminate options (see square fixed cover plates above). Please note we will never ship items directly to a powdercoater - they must be shipped to the purchaser directly.

There are a couple of basic but important factors to consider and inform the powdercoater of before you hand them over to them to get them coloured, which we will discuss with you.

Modifications to a supplied product (e.g. powdercoating) will void any returns regardless of manufacturing, fabrication or specification issues. We are not responsible for any losses or costs incurred this way. It is required that you inspect the product once supplied to ensure it meets what you ordered. If there are any issues, please reach out to us immediately - Do Not continue to powdercoating. Modifications to any product issued incorrectly that would otherwise have been recoverable or replaceable will incur costs by the purchaser. Due to this we require posts to be shipped directly to the purchaser and will not send them directly to a powdercoater or other third party.
