Wire Balustrade Kit #64s – Swage Stud Tensioner System Flat Posts (Timber & Metal)

Slimline stainless steel outside-to-outside fixing stair/ramp wire balustrade kit for flat posts.

Pre-drill your post holes.

Insert the rod terminals into the 6mm (smaller) bevelled washers. Do the same for the hex socket tensioner and 8mm (larger) bevelled washers. Use the Flat Round Washers as required for extra contact with the face of the post.

Insert the wire rope into the swage fittings at each end of your run. These fittings require a hydraulic swaging tool.

Insert the swage stud terminal into the hex socket tensioner and tighten with an allen key.

For stair sections with thicker posts such as 90 x 90mm or more, choose the 75mm swage stud terminal.

Please note that the bevelled washers in the kit are made at 37° angles, they cannot be custom-made nor is there an alternative option for degrees. As a result they may not sit entirely flush or be required on other stair angles. 37° is a common stair angle.
