Description / Wire Balustrade Kit #6 – Jaw/Swage System (Metal)
This handy stainless wire balustrade kit is used for staircase runs between metals posts, or where angles are required. Features two, M5 x 3.2mm Jaw & Swage Bottlescrews connected to M6 Mini Eye Bolts (RHT) threaded into M6 Rivet Nuts (RHT).
Suitable for 3.2mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 is smoother and more aesthetically pleasing than 7x7 or 7x19.
All in stainless steel 316, these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping, such as with our light duty hydraulic swaging tool. Available for purchase or hire (Melbourne only).
Also recommended is the multi tool spanner to simply and easily adjust the tensioners.
