Wire Balustrade Kit #404 – Jaw/Swage System 4.0mm (Timber & Metal)

This popular stainless balustrade kit features 2x M6 Jaw & Swage Bottlescrews for 4mm wire, M6 Saddles (also called Wire Eye Straps) and 10G Self Tapping Stainless Steel Screws for Timber Posts (or Stainless Rivets for Metal Posts as preferred). Bottlescrews at each end of the wire run gives better tension capability and flexibility.

Suitable for 4mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 is smoother and more aesthetically pleasing than 7x7 or 7x19.
