Wire Balustrade Kit #433 – Jaw/Jaw System (Timber)

This stainless wire balustrade kit is neat, versatile and designed for fixing 4.0mm wire rope to timber posts.

The jaw/jaw bottlescrew can be easily fixed to one of the lag eye screws provided by removing a pin at one end.

Using flexible 7x7 or 7x19 wire, run the wire through the swage/ferrule and loop through a thimble, then back into the swage and simply crimp using a 600mm mechanical hand swaging tool a 5T light duty hydraulic swaging tool or a 8T hydraulic swaging tool.

1x19 wire is unsuitable for looping around thimbles. A more flexible wire, either 7x7 (most common) or 7x19 must be used.
