One of the neatest and best value for money wire balustrade systems available, this slimline wire balustrade kit consists of an M5 Lag/Swage Bottlescrew and Lag Screw Terminal perfect for fixing 3.2mm (1x19, 7x7 or 7x19) stainless steel 316 wire rope to timber posts.

Suitable for straight line wire rope runs less than 10 metres.

These fittings require hydraulic swaging. You can use a hydraulic swaging machine or a hydraulic hand swaging tool. Alternately we have a Factory Hydraulic Swaging service (Currently Unavailable) where you have the wire and fittings delivered to you for a simply and easy installation.

The internal thread diameter of the bottlescrew is approximately 4.1mm, so a we recommend pre-drilling with 4mm Sutton Viper Drill Bit.

The wire rope is inserted in the swage end of the bottlescrew (also sometimes called a turnbuckle or rigging screw) and crimped using a hydraulic swaging tool. At the other end of the run, insert the wire rope into the lag screw swage terminal and crimp. Tension the wire rope with the bottlescrew.
