Swage stud terminal RHT for 3.2mm wire rope, M6 x 75mm thread length. High quality forged AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel.

The 75mm swage stud has a longer thread than it's shorter counterparts, which is essential when fixing through thicker timber posts. If you want to use a hex socket tensioner on a 90 x 90mm post (or even larger) on the angle for a staircase, then this is the perfect fitting. With this fitting you will have enough thread length to pass through the post on the angle and then thread into the hex socket tensioner. Because you need to stop the wire from twisting, you need to grip the swage stud with shifters or a spanner, and then wind in the hex socket tensioner to tension the wire.

The result is a neat and slimline wire balustrade with minimal fittings shown.

Requires hand or machine hydraulic swaging.
