Wire Balustrade Kit #33 – Jaw/Jaw System (Timber)

This stainless wire balustrade kit is neat, versatile and designed for fixing 3.2mm wire rope to timber posts.

The jaw/jaw bottlescrew can be easily fixed to one of the lag eye screws provided by removing a pin at one end.

Using flexible 7x7 or 7x19 wire, run the wire through the swage/ferrule and loop through a thimble, then back into the swage and simply crimp using our 350mm mechanical hand swaging tool or 600mm mechanical hand swaging tool or light duty hydraulic swaging tool.

1x19 wire is unsuitable for looping around thimbles. A more flexible wire, either 7x7 (most common) or 7x19 must be used.
