Stunning forest retreat stainless wire balustrade system

Stunning forest retreat stainless wire balustrade system

It was a great surprise when Richard (nickname Dick) sent through his fantastic photos of the wire balustrade project he just completed - all the way over in Annapolis, Maryland USA. Dick was scouring the internet for a wire balustrade system that would make the most of the beautiful vista of his cosy forest retreat and came across our range.

Stainless wire balustrades provide an unimpeded vista, isn't it magic...

This is one of the neatest, most slimline kits we have available — Wire Balustrade Kit #61 – Swage Stud Terminal & Threaded Timber Insert System. It uses stainless balustrade wire hydraulically swaged into stainless swage stud terminals, fixed into the timber posts via threaded timber inserts for a clean, minimalist finish.

You can install it yourself, or save yourself the time and leave it to us with our factory pre-swaging service.

One balustrade kit contains all the fittings you need to complete one wire run. Then just add the balustrading wire and crimp using one of our hydraulic swaging tools — we recommend the 8T for most DIY installs, offering the right balance of power and price.

Thanks to Dick for sharing the stunning photos. If ever there was a reason to use wire balustrading to maintain a beautiful view then this must be it.
